From Volume 3 [Sorry if I've spoilt this for anyone who's only just began reading the series. :B], when Sasuke shields Naruto from an attack from Haku, which leaves him dead [Or so we're supposed to believe].
Anyways, this was by FAR the biggest piece I've ever worked on, effort and time wise. My average sketch takes roughly... 1-2 hours to complete, where I work through light blocking, accurate blocking, light rough outline, light detail, medium sketch, finishing detail, finishing line-art, and, finally, shading and effects. But I had only completed the light rough outline after around 2 hours. The whole thing came up to about... 10 hours work, which I done in one sitting [I started it on Sunday morning, and really wanted to watch the final round of the Masters. Shut up. XD], so yeah... this consumed an incredible amount of my time and energy, yet I feel this is my most complex piece of art ever. I love it.
Wow, the detail in this is simply outstanding, I can see how that would have taken you a long time.
Everythng about this piece is amazing, simply amazing. From the character's expression to his body pose to even the shading on his body, it all comes cohesively together to fit the mood of the scene going on. I would have thought at first that this was a DIRECT SCAN of one of the panels from the manga, it's so accurate.
EXCELLENT.
Also, feel free to view/comment my art if you want. I really appreciate any viewage/opinions!
